Following Dreams In Sobriety // A Journey To Machu Picchu

At Bodhi Casa we believe that adventure and nature heal the spirit. So, when an alumni was so inspired after hiking the John Muir trail, that he later decided to explore the mystical ruins of Machu Picchu, we fully supported his dream.

With a newly discovered sense of adventure, our alumni took to the Salcantay route, a trail that is an alternative to the traditional Inca Trail leading to Machu Picchu. The trek crosses the Salkantay Pass at 4600m, descending into a cloud forest that passes by the Inca ruins of Liactapata, giving our alumni outstanding views of Machu Picchu. So, you can only imagine our pride when he came back to share his adventures with the new guys in the house.
